What is a Fiver Ride?
A Fiver Ride is a series of organized group rides designed to bring the community together to ride in a fun, non-competitive format. Experienced riders can practice lines in preparation for the St. John’s Enduro Series while newer and less experienced riders can learn popular routes and build skills and confidence in a relaxed setting.
The Fiver Series is primarily intended as a social ride, however you determine your pace! Advanced riders will lead the group, while less experienced riders can take their time and scope and session different lines. Post-ride pizza and non-alcoholic refreshments will be provided!
There will be a prize draw each week for 50% of the funds collected that week. Prizes will be awarded based on registration and by random draw. The remaining funds collected will go towards covering expenses or directly back into trail maintenance. Riders must complete the predetermined route during the ride to be eligible for prize draws.
AMBA Membership is required to participate (Get your membership here) . Entry fee for each ride is $5.
When: Wednesdays at 6:15pm for 6:30pm start. (Day and time subject to change based on available daylight!)
Where: Meet at the White Hills lower parking lot on Cadet Road.
As this is a new concept for AMBA, we may adjust the above as we work through what works well and what does not. We will look to expand and refine this series for the 2025 season.
